We are seeking an experienced developer to customize MS Dynamics Business Central to meet our unique business needs. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the platform and will be able to create tailored solutions that enhance our operational efficiency. Following is a SOP for what we think will be needed.
Objective: Implement Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central to integrate and streamline business operations across all departments, replacing existing systems with a unified ERP solution.
2.1 Sales Management Module
New Equipment Sales:
•Project-based sales order management for complete manufacturing projects
• Multi-phase project tracking (Design → Approval Drawings → Procurement → Fabrication → Shipping → Installation)
• Bill of Materials (BOM) management for crane assemblies
• Customer-specific project documentation repository
• Quote-to-cash workflow automation
• Integration between project phases and financial milestones
Service Sales:
• Service contract management with inspection scheduling
• OSHA-compliant inspection tracking and reporting
• Quarterly preventive maintenance (PM) scheduling per customer requirements
• Service call dispatching and work order management
• Time and materials billing for breakdowns
• Modernization and upgrade project tracking
• Parts ordering system linked to service tickets
2.2 Manufacturing Module
Manufacturing:
• Production order management for new equipment
• Work center tracking for:
o Plate steel cutting and preparation
o Welding operations
o Fabrication assembly
