THE ROLE

You'll be the person who makes sure our Microsoft stack -- Azure, M365, Entra ID, Intune -- is secure, well-managed, and working the way it should. You'll work closely with our applications, service desk, and security teams, support our compliance posture, and play a hands-on role in the tools that our teams rely on every day. This isn't a ticket-queue role. We want someone who spots problems before they surface and improves things without being asked.

Day-to-day you will:

• Administer and optimise our Azure environment including virtual machines and storage
• Manage Microsoft 365 -- Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint -- and keep it running cleanly
• Own Entra ID: identity lifecycle, conditional access, and role-based access control
• Manage Intune for device compliance and endpoint configuration across our Windows and mobile fleet
• Configure and maintain DLP policies and M365 Security & Compliance Center
• Support our Zero Trust posture, including Microsoft Global Secure Access
• Contribute to our ISO 27001 and ASD Essential Eight compliance program (tracked in Drata)
• Work with our MDR provider (CrowdStrike Falcon Complete) on proactive security posture improvements

WHAT YOU'LL BRING

• Tertiary qualification in IT, Cyber Security or related (desirable)
• Strong hands-on experience across Azure and Microsoft 365
• Working knowledge of Entra ID, Intune and M365 Security & Compliance
• Experience with DLP, endpoint management and identity controls
• Understanding of security frameworks (ISO 27001, Essential Eight)
• AZ-104 or MS-102 certification (preferred)
• Security-first mindset with strong problem-solving capability
• Clear communicator able to engage technical and non-technical stakeholders
