• Role "Digital Workplace Architect"

  • A Digital Workplace Architect is responsible for defining, designing, and governing a secure, scalable, and user‑centric digital workplace ecosystem. This role serves as a strategic link between business requirements and technology, ensuring that digital workplace solutions effectively support productivity, regulatory compliance, and the organization’s long‑term digital strategy.
  • In the role of Digital Workplace Architect, this profile and its assignment support both regulatory and organizational compliance, encompassing areas such as DAS (design documentation, architectural governance, and security requirements), while concurrently contributing to the definition and enablement of the Bank’s future Digital Workplace strategy.
  • This includes the design and adoption of key capabilities such as Cloud PC, Modern Workplace, Microsoft Copilot, and App Control for Business, ensuring a secure, scalable, and future‑ready workplace ecosystem.
  • In the role of Digital Workplace Architect, you will join a dynamic team tasked with the oversight, architectural governance, and integration of the ecosystem supporting the Bank’s Digital Workplace landscape, with the following scope.

  His/her main tasks in this would be Architecture & Solution Design:

  • Elaborate an infrastructure and application design in accordance with the security and architecture requirements;
  • Prepare architectural schemes, and complete technical documentation regarding Digital Workplace products such as Endpoints (Windows & iOS), Mail-infra (Exchange, mail-routing, ...), Azure (Hybrid/AAD join, AVD, W365, conditional access policies, other cloud infra...), Teams, Sharepoint, etc;
  • Put in place initiatives to evaluate for the digital workplace roadmap in line with the Modern Workplace capabilities and cloud-first IT strategy of the IT department;
  • Ensure alignment with organizational security policies, regulatory requirements, and compliance standards;
  • Support and collaborate colleagues in team to work on engineering, operations, and with vendor partners to ensure successful implementations;
  • Produce and maintain architectural documentation, including high‑level designs, reference architectures, and standards;
  • Continuous Improvement & Innovation on workplace roadmap.

  Required skills "Digital Workplace Architect"

  • Knowledge and expertise

    • Working knowledge on IT Infrastructure projects in the Digital Workplace environment;
    • Possess a strong affinity on security without losing the end-user-experience focus.

  • Technical competences/skills

    • Extensive knowledge of M365 products ((Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Teams, Copilot);
    • Azure: AAD(Azure Active Directory), AVD (Azure Virtual Desktop), W365 (Azure W365), Conditional Access Policies, Intune, Microsoft Entra ID, etc…;
    • Writing technical documentation (e.g. Detailed Architecture Document);
    • Security evolutions like endpoint security, zero trust policies and passwordless;
    • Networking basics : zoning, vlan, NAC, VPN, endpoints, … ;
    • Be able to support and advise technical teams on implementation activities;
    • Automation & Scripting e.a. PowerShell (automation, configuration, reporting), Infrastructure as Code concepts, Digital Experience Monitoring (DEX).

  • Proven Experience requirements:

    • Proven experience with IT Infrastucture projects in the Digital Workplace environment;
    • Proven experience to work with business, architect and security teams and the product SME's towards secure, stable and performant solutions;
    • Proven experience in IT in a high security standard environment (ex. Finance).

  • Soft competences/skills

    • Team-oriented and collaborative communication - be able to translate complex; technical topics into clear and actionable insights, experienced in facilitating workshops and architectural discussions, writing clear and concise documentation and sharing knowledge;
    • Leadership, effectively aligning and guiding cross‑functional teams and processes.
