Role Overview:
Thirteen Group is on the lookout for a BI/AI Developer to join our IT team in Hudson Quay, Middlesbrough.
This is a hybrid role, so you’ll work from our offices around 3 days a week and from home the rest of your time. We’ll need you to be flexible around business and team need, so you may need to come into the office more frequently when required.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain high-quality BI dashboards, reports and visualisations that enable actionable insight
- Support AI, machine learning and advanced analytics initiatives, including predictive modelling and KPI analysis
- Integrate GIS capabilities into analytics and dashboards to provide spatial insight for operational and strategic decisions
- Ensure data accuracy, quality and readiness by collecting, validating and preparing data from multiple sources
- Translate business requirements into effective BI / AI solutions in partnership with data and operational teams
- Support automation initiatives to streamline reporting and reduce manual processes
About You:
- You’ll have a relevant degree or professional accreditation in data, analytics, computer science, GIS or equivalent demonstrable experience
- Accredited in Power BI, AI/ML or GIS technologies (ideally Microsoft Certified: Power BI Data Analyst Associate (PL-300) or Fabric Analytics Engineer Associate (DP-600).)
- Proven experience developing dashboards and reports using Power BI or similar BI tools
- Practical experience using GIS tools (such as ArcGIS) to generate spatial insights
- A strong understanding of AI, machine learning or predictive analytics techniques
- Confident communicator, able to explain complex data and insights clearly to a range of audiences
