Dynamics 365 Technical Functional Consultant
Contract: 11 May 2026 – 30 June 2026 (Extension Possible)
NTT Data is seeking an experienced Dynamics 365 Technical Functional Consultant to support a high‑profile engagement with the local state govt dept. This is a contract opportunity suited to a hands‑on consultant who thrives in Agile environments and enjoys working closely with senior stakeholders to deliver impactful Microsoft Dynamics solutions.
About the Role:
As the Dynamics Technical Functional Consultant, you will provide expert functional analysis and configuration services across medium to large‑scale Microsoft Dynamics 365 implementations. You will play a key role in translating complex business needs into high‑quality functional designs and configured solutions that align with platform best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver end‑to‑end functional analysis for Microsoft Dynamics 365 solutions
- Engage with business stakeholders and technical teams to gather, analyse, document, and validate requirements
- Translate business requirements into functional artefacts, including:
- User stories
- Wireframes and screen mock‑ups
- Functional specifications
- Actively participate in Agile Scrum ceremonies, including backlog grooming, sprint planning, estimation, showcases, and reviews
- Configure Dynamics 365 solutions, including:
- Customer Service module
- Power Pages
- Forms, business process flows, and business rules
- Lead and facilitate workshops, showcases, and design sessions with senior stakeholders
- Drive business process re‑engineering initiatives and propose innovative, value‑driven solutions
- Collaborate with architects, developers, testers, and end‑users to ensure successful delivery
- Ensure solutions align with Dynamics 365 platform capabilities, constraints, and best practices
Essential Skills & Experience:
- 5+ years’ experience delivering functional analysis services
- 3+ years’ experience on medium to large‑scale Microsoft Dynamics 365 implementations
- Strong understanding of Dynamics 365 platform capabilities and limitations
- 2+ years’ experience working in Agile Scrum environments
- Strong hands‑on configuration experience with:
- Dynamics 365 Customer Service
- Power Pages
- Forms, business process flows, and business rules
- Advanced skills in requirements documentation and functional design artefacts
- Proven experience delivering business process re‑engineering outcomes
- Excellent communication and facilitation skills, with the ability to engage effectively with senior stakeholders and technical teams
Desirable Experience:
- Exposure to Microsoft Azure environments
- Experience using Azure DevOps
- Previous experience within the health sector
